12th September 2011:
We are pleased to announce that there will be an auction after the AGM in 2012.
The deadline for receiving lots, listed and described, for this auction is 1st December 2011.
The maximum size of the auction will be 500 lots and acceptance of lots will be on a first come basis,
so please submit your lots ASAP. There will be a minimum reserve of £5. For further details please contact the Auctioneer. Address on contacts page.
19th August 2011:
The price for the Jamaica Study Paper has been reduced from £20 to £15 for the remaining few. See the Subscriptions Page

The option to pay for subscriptions by Paypal is now live.
Options to pay via paypal for other products and services will be introduced in the future.
8th August 2011:
There will be a CD/DVD of past issues available to members in the New Year. No firm price has been decided yet, but it hoped to price it around £10-£15.

This years AGM will include items on proposed rule changes and also proposal for new subscription charges

Note that next years February 2012 display meeting will be a joint meeting with the Rhodesia Study Circle who cover Southern and Northern Rhodesia and Nyasaland.

The King George VI Large Key Type Revenue and Postage High Value Stamps 1937-1953
Eric Yendall's eagerly awaited volume was published by the RPS London at the end of August and is available from Murray Payne and Victoria Stamp Company.
It is hoped to include a review in the next edition of GEOSIX.
15th August 2008:
The Society Golden Jubilee will be held in 2010. There will be a display from the Royal Collection, and the possibility of a dinner for members and partners. More details to follow as they become available. See the Golden Jubilee page.

The Soceity webiste was favourably reviewed by Ron Negus in the June 2004 issue of the British Philatelic Bulletin (Vol. 41 No. 10).
6th May 2004:
Following the AGM on the 24th April 2004 we are pleased to announce that F.R. Lockyer O.B.E. was elected President of the Society.
He stepped down from his post as Secretary, and John Shaw was elected as Secretary. Many thanks and congratulations to both elected members.
